Shutter stiles
are the structural right and left parts of a plantation shutter
panel. The rabbeted stile, with a cut or groove along the edge
of the stile between panels, allows them to form a joint to
reduce light penetration. These shutter stiles can be made from basswood, unfinished,
solid, ready for you to stain or paint, and can also be made
from Poplar, finger jointed and edge glued, with Jesso prime,
ready for you to paint.
