rods,
also called tilt bars, are the vertical bars used for adjusting
the louver position. They control rotation of louvers in a
coordinated manner for control of light, privacy and
ventilation. The tilt rod is usually mounted on the center of
the louver on the face of the panel. the tilt rod can be mounted
to the right or left edge of the louver if desired. These tilt
bars can be made from basswood, unfinished,
solid, ready for you to stain or paint, and can also be made
from Poplar, finger jointed and edge glued, with Jesso prime,
ready for you to paint.
